How to get creative with a date night

We moved to Clemson, away from family, about 3 years ago. I was on shift for a long time, so date nights were kind of non-existent.

Now that I’m home full time, I am ALWAYS wanting to go out and do something. We are just now getting to the point of finding babysitters… and honestly… it’s hard finding people to leave your babies with! My husband is a college basketball coach, so our schedules are wild. It’s a non-stop profession, so we have to get a little creative.

We started this tradition in our house where we pick ONE night a week after the kids go to bed & we (I) get Dressed up like I’m going to go out. We sit at the table and have dinner & a tall-boy together.

If you know Nick & I, you know this sounds spot on. Our first date was at the Waffle House & we got engaged over an All Star breakfast. We are super low key, but it still gives me the chance to dress up nice & spend some quality time with the husband.
