2021 Trend Alert | All about the cut-outs
I have figured out why I like this trend so much. I find them interesting. Can I be a total nerd here for a second? There’s some weird part of my brain that sees math in these tops. I love the asymmetric lines of them all. Anyways, I digress. Let’s pretend I never brought up math in a fashion post again.
Anyways, it is all about the cut-outs this season! Let’s begin, shall we!?
I HONESTLY GOT THIS TOP AND IMMEDIATELY THOUGHT, “HOW IN THE WORLD DO I PUT THIS ON?”
I love the cut out on the arm and the way it crosses over the body. I have been following Danielle Guizio a long time, & when I saw her line on Revolve, I was pumped! I paired it with a brown crop underneath, but you could really put any color basic tank. You can get this top here.
This is definitely one of my favorites. I like the cutout in the middle. This one is less confusing to put on; it’s fairly straightforward. This top is LPA & it’s super comfortable. However, I will say I do not recommend this top unless you are part of the ITBC like me. ha-ha! You gotta watch this top closely. I think I wore it to dinner once, & had to watch myself when I reached for things. I like the blousy sleeves of this; I feel like it balances out the exposed stomach. It’s edgy, but still feminine. You can find this top here. It’s on sale now! The orange shades are an amazon find. If you like them, click here!
Here are a few other favorites of this new trend. My husband laughs at me, because whenever I open a new package, he says, “OH, another top that looks like the others.” MEN…….
Top (from left to right): Helmut Lang Black Assymetrical Top // Superdown White Cut-out Bodysuit // Superdown Red Strappy Dress
Bottom (from left to right): NBD Black Cut-out Bodysuit // Superdown Red Assymetrical Bodysuit // NBD Blue Cut-out Top
I really don’t think I’ll ever get tired of these tops - they are way too much fun. Only issue I have is sometimes figuring out how to put them on. :)
