Denim on Denim
I must admit to you I used to cringe at denim on denim! Only because I am a recovering perfectionist & it just didn't…… feel right. But, I must say… this look triggers early 2000’s Britney Spears feels. Am I right? I have come to the conclusion though that fashion shouldn’t be perfect. In fact, it’s better when it’s not. I like throwing things together you normally wouldn’t.
These jeans are bit pricier, but an absolute staple. Investing in a solid pair of wide-legged loose jeans is a must to me. These specific ones are AGOLDE & they are what I consider the holy grail of jeans. The jeans are $198, but worth every penny. Never worn a pair of jeans more. The top was sort of a splurge… but it’s “on sale” for $98. I love how feminine a fitted corset top makes you feel. It is linked here from REVOLVE
